Five teams are in the Tokyo area: the Giants and Swallows in Central Tokyo, the Lions in West Tokyo and the Marines in East Tokyo. The BayStars are south in nearby Yokohama. All are within an easy train ride from anywhere in Tokyo.
In the greater Osaka-Kyoto-Nagoya area are the Buffaloes and Tigers in Osaka, and the Dragons in Nagoya.
The Fighters are in Sapporo, Hawks in Fukuoka, Eagles in Sendai, and Carp in Hiroshima.
