Tuesday (4/21)

Shugo Maki’s birthday game
  • Shugo Maki (BayStars) homered on his birthday in a 16-9 win versus the Tigers.
  • Kota Tatsu (Fighters) out-dueled Kosei Shoji (Eagles) in a 3-1 win.
  • Shingo Ishikawa (Marines) hit a three-run home run in a 7-4 win against the Buffaloes.
  • Masato Morishita (Carp) tossed seven innings of one-run ball to edge the Swallows, 2-1.

Wednesday (4/22)

Taiki Narama’s walkoff
  • Taiki Narama (Fighters) walked off the Eagles in extras.
  • Kona Takahashi (Lions) threw his first complete game since 2023 in a 3-1 victory over the Hawks.
  • Kazuyuki Takemaru (Giants) struck out 10 batters over five innings to take down the Dragons, 5-1.
  • Yusuke Ohyama (Tigers) smashed two homers in a 7-6 loss to the BayStars.
  • Jose Quijada (Swallows) became the first foreign pitcher in NPB history to record a save in each of his first nine appearances.

Thursday (4/23)

Ryosuke Ohtsu’s gem
  • Domingo Santana (Swallows) hit his fifth dinger in a 2-0 win versus the Carp.
  • Ryosuke Ohtsu (Hawks) struck out nine batters across seven innings while allowing one run in a 4-3 win against the Lions.

Friday (4/24)

Bob Seymour’s bomb
  • Bob Seymour (Buffaloes) hit his first NPB homer in a 3-2 win against the Fighters.
  • Shugo Maki (BayStars) sustained a right hamstring injury and exited the game in the third inning.

Toshiya Satoh’s double dong game
