Also Known As: Nagoya Dome

Opened in: 1997

Stadium Capacity: 36,370

Dimensions: LF & RF: 100 m (328 ft) / CF: 122 m (400 ft)

Description: The seating at Nagoya Dome is comfortable and there’s a wide selection of food and drinks. Its atmosphere is not especially different from any other domed stadium, but the high outfield walls mean that home runs are more infrequent than they are at any other NPB stadium.

It is located somewhat far (20 minutes’ walk) from the nearest JR station (Ozone) and about 10 minutes from the nearest subway (Nagoya Dome-mae Yata). For the record, the farm team plays at Nagoya Stadium, which is where the Dragons used to play, and where Mr. Baseball (starring Tom Selleck) was filmed.
