Description: Replacing the former Hiroshima Municipal Stadium, which was built in the area of “ground zero” of the atomic bomb dropping and closed for professional use in 2008, Mazda Zoom Zoom Stadium is the newest NPB ballpark. As a result, it has all the bells and whistles: concourses are nice and wide, concessions are among the best in Japan, and the view of play on the natural-grass field is outstanding no matter where your seats are. The visiting section is isolated from the home crowd, unlike that of other stadiums.
Despite its fairly standard dimensions, Zoom Zoom has been somewhat of a pitcher-friendly park so far. Located just a short walk from Hiroshima Station makes it very accessible, plus you will enjoy the walk there surrounded by red uniform-clad fans and food stands lining both sides of the promenade.
