Description: Though its structure is quite old, Seimei Park is among the more modern baseball stadiums in Japan, thanks to the beautiful remodeling job done soon after Sendai was awarded an expansion franchise in 2005. Concessions inside and outside of the building proper are plentiful, but do not accept cash payments. Outfield seats are especially close to the action, with foul territory practically non-existent beyond the outfield. Speaking of the outfield, beyond the left-field stands to the left of the scoreboard is a Ferris wheel which can be ridden during games. The amusement park is a great place for kids, with some attractions offering free admission on non-game days.
