Spring training is underway in Nippon Professional Baseball! Clubs are currently wrapping up camp and playing exhibition games against CPBL, KBO, and other NPB teams, but starting February 22, the “real” spring training, where results count towards the preseason standings, begins. Games will first be held in Okinawa and Miyazaki, and once the calendar turns to March, teams will start to play in their respective home cities.
That also means teams are rousing their fans with big expectations for the new season. As is tradition, each team has revealed a slogan in the hopes of setting the right tone for 2025 (and to sell more merchandise). Some mottos sound better than others in English, but let’s take a look at all the teams.
