An undergraduate student at Northwestern University's acclaimed Medill School of Journalism, Coop is the Sports Editor of North by Northwestern. When he's not digging deep for historical sports stories, he is rooting for the Cubs and Blackhawks and practicing the sousaphone, which he plays for the Northwestern University Marching Band.

Daisuke is a Japanese businessman, and an avid fan of MLB, NPB, and CPBL; moreover, a diehard fan of the New York Mets, Chiba Lotte Marines, and Uni-President Lions, in each respective league. He lived in Japan (mainly the Osaka area), Puerto Rico, and the US as a child, and, as an adult, has worked and lived in Peru, Tokyo, and Osaka in addition to his current home of Madrid, Spain, where he follows baseball from a country where soccer is “king.” Daisuke is a contributing member of AABR (the Association of American Baseball Research), an organization based in Japan for those who love and follow Major League Baseball.
