The Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) has released a special two-volume set, titled Nichibei Yakyu: US Tours of Japan, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Japanese baseball. This set is the first of its kind in English, focusing on the international tours of over 100 American and Hawaiian baseball teams to Japan since 1907. Volume 1 covers the early 20th century, while Volume 2 delves into the latter half of the 20th century and the 21st.
The book is the result of the contributions of many JapanBallers, including the editor Rob Fitts, Shane Barclay, Scott Meleskey, Carter Cromwell, Bill Staples, Jr., Susan McCormac, and Coop Daley.
